FAQs

If you have any other questions about the day please reach out to Taylor!
Question

Can I attend the ceremony?

Answer

After enjoying dessert we would love for our guests to make their way to the pier to view our private ceremony from afar. There is additional parking right by the pier for anyone unable to walk across the park, however there is also a beautiful walking path right from the pavilion to the pier with other great viewpoints along the way. We kindly ask that the ceremony remain private for immediate family only, as there isn’t enough space on the boats to accommodate additional guests.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

Our reception will be held at the large pavilion in Fort Foster (Kittery Point, ME). This is a weather dependent location, and it is outdoor so please dress for the weather!

Question

Where do I park at Fort Foster?

Answer

We will be at the Large Pavilion, take the first left once inside the park. At the end of the road is the pavilion, all parking is to the left on the grass along the road.

Question

What if it rains or is very hot out?

Answer

In case of inclement or uncomfortable weather, we have a secondary indoor location booked to ensure the event goes smoothly.

Question

Where is the backup location?

Answer

The backup location is in Cape Porpoise, ME. It is 45 minutes north of Kittery, please take this into consideration when booking any accommodations for the weekend. All parking is on street parking.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Coastal Cocktail is our dress theme. We want you to come wearing your best floral patterns and colors! This is not a formal event, think sun dresses, skirts, blouses, nice slacks/shorts, button downs, and shirts with collars. We just ask that you are not in jeans or workwear. There is a lawn, rocky walking path, and rocky beach at the venue, please consider this when choosing your shoes for the day. See the 'Dress Code' section for more details and inspiration!
