FAQs

Question

What Airport Should I Fly Into?

Answer

We recommend flying into Florence Airport (FLR), which is approximately one hour from Villa La Selva. Rome (FCO) and Pisa (PSA) are also options for guests planning to explore more of Italy during their trip.

Question

When Should I Arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving in Europe at least 2–3 days before the wedding to allow time to adjust to the 7–9 hour time difference and recover from your travels. Whether you choose to explore another European destination or head straight to Tuscany, we encourage you to plan your arrival with enough time to rest, settle in, and fully enjoy the wedding festivities!

Question

What Will the Weather Be Like?

Answer

Late May in Tuscany is typically warm and pleasant, with daytime temperatures often ranging between 70°F and 80°F. Evenings can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap.

Question

Can I Bring a Plus One?

Answer

Yes! We know that traveling to Tuscany is a big trip, and we want our guests to be able to share the experience with someone. Guests who are not married, engaged, or in a long-term relationship are welcome to bring a plus one. Please let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly and ensure everyone is included in our final guest count.

Question

What Is the Dress Code?

Answer

Welcome Party: Cocktail attire with a touch of Italian flair encouraged. Think cocktail dresses, midi dresses, linen sets, sport coats, suits, colorful patterns, and rich colors inspired by the Italian countryside. Shades of red, terracotta, olive green, butter yellow, florals, and other vibrant colors are all encouraged as we kick off the wedding weekend. Wedding Day: Tuscan Formal We invite guests to dress in formal attire for our wedding celebration. Think elegant dresses, vibrant colors, floral prints, lightweight fabrics, and classic suiting inspired by the beauty and romance of Tuscany. We encourage guests to embrace the spirit of an Italian summer celebration with joyful colors and effortless elegance.

Question

Do I Need a Passport?

Answer

Yes. All guests traveling to Italy will need a valid passport. We recommend checking your passport expiration date ASAP, as many countries require passports to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. If you need to apply for or renew a passport, we suggest doing so as early as possible to avoid any processing delays.

Question

Will Transportation Be Provided?

Answer

We are currently finalizing transportation plans for the wedding evening and expect to provide shuttle service from select nearby accommodations. Additional details will be shared closer to the wedding date.
