Taco Loco
This was our favorite food spot when we were in high school, and still holds a special place in our hearts today. We recommend the torta cubano, sopes, and tacos of course. If you go on the weekend, get the tamales!
Gemelli Italian Deli & Bagelry
Our go-to breakfast spot for bagels. They also have great pizza and subs for lunch, as well as drinks!
Beary The Hatchet Axe Throwing Co.
If you're traveling and looking for something fun to do, Beary the Hatchet is a great option in the downtown area. Axe throwing, drinks and game room!
Latham-Whitehurst Nature Park
Arguably the prettiest place for a short hike in the area.
Downtown New Bern
If you're looking for options, go for a walk around historic downtown New Bern! There's plenty of shops and restaurants, and we love to walk alongside the river and Union Point Park.
