Taylor and Liam met in the fall of 2016 at Wabash Valley College. Taylor was a freshman playing softball and Liam was a sophomore transfer from Arizona State on the baseball team. Taylor and Liam met through mutual friends and starting dating on September 27, 2016.

Liam proposed on December 19, 2022 in Panama City Beach. Taylor was on vacation with her family and Liam wasn't able to go on the trip- or so Taylor thought. Taylor and her family had dinner reservations at Runaway Island and planned to take sunset pictures before. As Taylor walked down the boardwalk to the beach she could see Liam at the end waiting for her. She was so surprised! Of course she said yes and they celebrated with champagne and seafood!
