After initial introductions from Bumble, we met in June of 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Layna was completing a traveling nurse assignment with her dog, Murphy, while Taylor was working in alcohol sales. Our first attempt at a date was forced to reschedule when Taylor got sick with Covid. Eventually, we had our first date at Postinos, although Taylor nearly had to postpone again due to a new job. Our date at Postinos was the start of something special! Layna accidentally slipped the “I love you” after a night out for Halloween and panicked. Taylor, with a warmhearted laugh, responded, “Of course, I love you too, dork.” On November 11, 2023, Taylor proposed to Layna on the side of a cliff in Layna’s favorite place, Sedona. That engagement has led to adding another furry member to the family, Mack, and moving cross-country to Ohio. We cannot wait to celebrate with you as we start this new chapter together!
