After initial introductions from Bumble, we met in June of 2022 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Layna was completing a traveling nurse assignment with her dog, Murphy, while Taylor was working in alcohol sales. Our first attempt at a date was forced to reschedule when Taylor got sick with Covid. Eventually, we had our first date at Postinos, although Taylor nearly had to postpone again due to a new job. Our date at Postinos was the start of something special! Layna accidentally slipped the “I love you” after a night out for Halloween and panicked. Taylor, with a warmhearted laugh, responded, “Of course, I love you too, dork.” On November 11, 2023, Taylor proposed to Layna on the side of a cliff in Layna’s favorite place, Sedona. That engagement has led us to adding another furry member to the family, Mack. From Arizona to Ohio, and now to the Bay Area in California. We cannot wait to celebrate with you as we start this new chapter together!
