Since this is my Dad's house parking is semi limited. While there is a large parking area, and long drive-way, there just isn't enough parking for everyone to come separate, without being parked in. We strongly suggest carpooling if possible. There is room for roughly 10-20 cars depending on how they are parked and about 4-6 spots available for the handicapped parking at the top of the hill for those who need to park closer to the party area. If you know of someone else coming that you could carpool with please reach out to them before hand.
No. While there is technically 1 child invited he is my God son and the usher and will be leaving after he has 1 s'more by 8pm the latest with a pre-organized ride so his mom doesn't have to leave early. As much as we love our younger family members and friends kids, we decided to have a mostly kid free event so the parents are able to fully enjoy themselves and not be so focused on being responsible parents.
My Fiancé and his mother are both deaf. The only way they can stay a part of the conversation with everyone is using a voice-to-text feature on their phones. (they do not know sign language) When there is too much background noise the app can't properly translate for them to read and keep up with the conversation. Since this is Kyle's day just as much as Taylor's it only makes sense to make sure that he and his mother are considered and included. As of now the only music that is planned are 3 songs during the wedding ceremony. One will play while the violinist, and best friend, Carley, sets up her mic and everything, then one played by Carley on the violin, while I walk down the isle, and lastly one played when Kyle and I walk up the isle as man and wife.
No, while you are welcome (and encouraged) to bring your own chair for the bonfire portion of the night, we will have folding chairs available from the wedding ceremony and dinner but think you would probably be more comfortable around the fire in a camping or lawn chair. (We will have a some extra for those coming from out of state)
Possibly. We just ask that you clear it with Taylor or Kyle before hand. We love you all but if everyone were to stand up and have a speech we'd be there for hours and never get to the tacos and yard games. Also so Kyle and his mother, Tammy, can read along during the speeches, please have your speech typed up and printed to ensure their phones won't mistranslate what is said, and can enjoy it along with everyone else. Please & Thank you!
