Great place to grab coffee and a pastry in the morning, on a great corner of Carrboro.
Merritt's Grill
Chapel Hill sandwich place that's famous for its BLTs and has great outdoor seating around back.
Neal's Deli
Best reuben in town and a great chip selection, order at the window and take it across the street for a beer at Steel String
Carolina Coffee Shop
Breakfast place on the main drag in Chapel Hill, historic building and we saw Armando Bacot here once
The Carolina Inn
The brunch buffet here is insanely good (and popular and pricy but if you eat enough it's actually cheap if you think about it)
He's Not Here
Grab a blue cup at this classic UNC bar, great outdoor space under magnolia trees
Top of the Hill
Think sports bar, it's on the main corner of Chapel Hill and overlooks the town and campus. Great balcony seating.
Old Well
UNC's Campus is beautiful, walk the lower and upper quads to see the old well, the bell tower and the library
La Vita Dolce
Coffee shop near the Hyatt Place!
Southern Community Park Disc Golf
Great disc golf course near the Hyatt Place! Both the front 9 loop and back 9 are loops, which makes it easy to play a quick round
Eno River State Park
If you want to go on an easy hike/river walk Eno is a great option. Picnic BBQ is on the way there if that's interesting to you too
Carrboro Farmers Market
Really nice Sunday morning farmers market with donuts and flowers, if you love farmers markets there's also Durham's on Saturday morning in Central Park
Kotuku Surf Club
Great outdoor dive bar near our place in Durham, can't beat it on a nice day but a drive from Chapel Hill which has enough to do on its own
LouElla Wine, Beer & Beverage
Another Durham favorite, if wine is your drink of choice and you want to visit Durham this is a great option. The Chapel Hill alternative is Tru Wine Bar & Deli which we also love.
