Our paths first crossed in 2005 at 5th grade honor chorus. We were just kids, so the thought of a relationship was not even on our radar. Who would've thought those two singing fools would end up becoming friends all throughout our schooling, go to prom together, attempt to date (first time wasn't a charm lol), and end up rekindling the flame as soon as the world decided to shut down.

On our trip to Punta Cana, we were going to have a photoshoot on the beach. We've had a few photoshoots before, so I didn't think much of it. He went to "find us a spot" while I finished getting ready. I was led to the beach by his friends only to find him standing next to a dinner table for 2. He had music playing ("Why I Love You" by Major) and proceeded to get on one knee and blew me away with a beautiful speech, followed by the reveal of the most gorgeous ring. Best day ever!
