Our Story
It all started at Beaver Lake in Arkansas, where, thanks to some matchmaking by friends Holly and Christian, Konlan and Taylor went on their first date! Soon after, Konlan drove to Wichita to take Taylor out again, and not long after that, Taylor made her first trip to Oklahoma, to see him at school. That weekend, on August 25, 2023, Konlan officially asked Taylor to be his girlfriend.
From then, their love story became a long-distance adventure. Taylor finished school in Wichita while Konlan continued at OU, and the two filled their calendars with road trips and FaceTime dates. After graduation, Taylor moved to Texas, while Konlan finished up at OU—still making those drives to see each other whenever they could.
Finally, in May 2025, Konlan graduated and the distance came to an end! A few months later, on September 27, 2025, he pulled off the sweetest surprise proposal. She said yes and now the wedding planning is in full swing! The big day can't come soon enough!
