We have very different recollections of our first time meeting. For Kevin, it was love at first sight. For Taylor, she was wondering why this cutie her friend convinced her to come meet wouldn't speak to her once she showed up for their planned study session. Years later, Taylor took matters into her own hands and asked him out on their first date. Thank goodness for Facebook.

Kevin rolled the dice for the first time in his life. Luckily for him, he wasn’t at a casino. He dove right in and began searching for the perfect ring for Taylor. He scavenged far and wide until he found the perfect one. Kevin imagined the perfect sunset at Big Sur to get down on one knee and ask his best friend to marry him. Little did he know that a worldwide pandemic would throw a wrench into his plans. Luckly, Kevin had a back up plan that would require the help of Tori, Taylor’s best friend. The day would start off by Tori calling her in tears needing her to come over because she was feeling lonely from the pandemic. While they were busy, Kevin would get their house ready for a romantic dinner in the living room with a beautiful flower centerpiece with two lit candles. The time came to pick up Taylor from Tori’s to head to the Mini Corona Del Mar for the sunset. While we drove to the beach, Taylor knew something was up and did not say a single word the whole ride for the first time ever. As we arrived at the beach, the sun was setting. Kevin managed to grab a few pictures of Taylor with the sunset. He was nervous, but on the surface he looked calm and ready. He finally built the courage to get on one knee and opened the engagement ring box and asked Taylor to marry him. To his surprise, Taylor began to laugh only because this nervous wreck opened the ring box upside down! She finally said yes once he flipped the box over.
