FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP by August 31, 2026

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

While there are parking spots available on property, as well as street parking at French Huguenot Church, please keep in mind that parking is very limited at both locations. We recommend taking a rideshare (Uber or Lyft) to the ceremony at French Huguenot Church. Immediately preceding the ceremony, there will be transportation provided to take guests directly to the reception at Lowndes Grove. At the end of the night, transportation will be provided to downtown Charleston, so we can keep the night going!

Question

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes - see the travel tab for all transportation details - including times & locations!

Question

Are my children allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of our flower girl & ring bearers). We hope you’ll take this opportunity to enjoy some time off and celebrate with us!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Since we will be in low country we encourage Southern Black Tie. This is a formal dress code with a relaxed Southern sensibility. Tuxedos are encouraged but not required—dark, formal suits are perfectly appropriate. Long gowns are ideal for women, and color and florals are absolutely welcome. Think classic elegance with warmth, personality, and a touch of Southern charm!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited. If a plus-one has been extended, it will be noted on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

What if I have special dietary restrictions?

Answer

Our venue is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions and can prepare a special meal if needed. Please let us know in advance when you RSVP so we can ensure everyone is well taken care of.
