We're Getting Married!

I met Taylor at Chuck and Loren's house one night. He was super shy and honestly didn't really talk much. We were both at different places in life so we didn't really think much about it all until about one year later. We always ended up seeing each other at Chuck and Loren's though whenever we were there to hang out with all of our friends. About a week after we started talking a little more than usual, I decided to ask him if he wanted to go to a Kevin Fowler concert together and we have been inseparable ever since.

So... Taylor is horrible at secrets and surprises. He's a hint giver. I expected it to be soon, but I truly didn't expect it when we were in Colorado though. We went on a trip to Reckonridge, Colorado for a quick weekend trip. We wanted to make this trip about relaxing and just overall spending time together because both schedules are incredibly busy. To be honest, we get one day a week together if we are lucky. With that being said, we just wanted to focus on resting and enjoying the time we don't get back home. We decided to go on a little walk around the town and we walked by this cute little pond. The mountains were absolutely stunning behind the pond so as I was admiring the view, little did I know there was my forever view down on one knee behind me. I truly couldn't get yes out fast enough. It's safe to say that a little weekend trip meant for relaxation turned into a trip I'll never forget.
