Bride
I crunch numbers and algorithms by day and read words and turn pages by night. Graduating from Arcadia University and completing my 13 year long swimming career, I then embarked to complete my Master’s Degree in Data Science at Cabrini University. After retiring my swim cap and goggles, I dabbled into a land sport and took up running as a hobby. Justin and I met on a dating app and instantly saw the spark in each other’s eyes over Thai Cuisine on our first date. Our love of the outdoors set us out on our journey to visit every U.S. National Park, and currently have 7 under our belts.
Groom
I’m your friendly neighborhood legal drug dealer! I received my Doctor of Pharmacy from West Virginia University in 2019, so I’ve been a pharmacist for about 6 years now. In May, it will be 3 years since I purchased my first home, and it has been fun learning how to do numerous home improvement projects. In my free time, you can find me walking or running the streets of Ebensburg, hiking, cooking, watching movies, or playing video games. I asked Taylor to be my girlfriend while picking pumpkins on our third date! Through Taylor, I discovered how beautiful America’s National Parks truly are and a life goal of ours is to visit all 63 of them together!
Matron of Honor
Rose was assigned to me as my upperclassman “buddy” on the Arcadia Swim team, when I was an incoming freshman. The role of the buddy was to help out the freshmen swimmers coming in on the team with guidance and advice, to help ease the transition of high school to college. From day 1, Rose always had my back. We instantly bonded over almost everything. Whether it was swimming and the strength training sessions, our outdoor and nature interests, or just our overall personalities, we share a friendship that I will forever cherish.
Best Man
My brother and best man! Chris has always been there for me every step of the way and has been present in all of my best memories in life. Growing up, we didn’t always see eye-to-eye and there were several “fights” between us when playing Nintendo 64 and other games, but that was just us being brothers. I wouldn’t trade those times for anything in this world! I don’t think either of us would be who we are today without each other. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to appreciate and love my brother and I don’t know what I would do without him. I love you, Big Bruddah!
Bridesmaid
Madison and I were both in the same incoming freshman class at Arcadia University, both joining the swim team. Through all of our freshmen shenanigans or trips into Philly, we built a friendship that was made to last. We both embarked on a study abroad trip of a lifetime to New Zealand and Australia, backpacking all over the two countries. The trip gave us a break from modern life luxuries, which taught us to appreciate the beauty of the earth and the joy of being with one another and strengthening our friendship even further.
Groomsman
One of the most thoughtful and charismatic people I know! We used to call each other’s houses (before cell phones were a thing) to see if the other wanted to play Super Smash Bros. online together. After high school, we really become great friends when we started hanging out pretty much every Saturday night for the next several years. We’ve had so many great times playing games and watching movies over the years, and Shane has kept the gamer inside me alive. Thanks for all the fun, Shane, always!
Bridesmaid
Lindsay is my closest to age cousin, so growing up we spent a lot of time with each other. Every family gathering, you could always find us together. We lived close to one another too, so we would always go over to each other’s house. Our bond we share has only grown stronger over the last few years. The memories we have created growing up together, is why I consider Lindsay not only my cousin, but like a sister to me.
Groomsman
Jacky and I met in pharmacy school! Wearing a PITT shirt on day 1 of orientation at WVU was a bold move, my friend. I’m not sure how many times we would panic over exams and discuss our answers afterwards, but it was too many to count. We may have goofed off in class too many times (Jacky more so than me), but we both did well and became great pharmacists! Jacky has ventured out to some of my family’s parties over the years and has become like a brother to me. I don’t think I would have made it through grad school without you, Jacky!
Bridesmaid
Stephanie is an older cousin of mine and was actually the flower girl in my parents’ wedding too! She has always been so supportive of me growing up, and someone I could count on for a great laugh or to celebrate a great victory in life with. I have always looked up to her fearlessness and her drive to not be afraid to take chances in life. The relationship we share is so special to me, and is why I see Stephanie as the older sister I have always wanted.
Groomsman
One of my closest cousins and best friends growing up! Josh has been like a brother to me and we have shared a ton of good memories together: wiffleball, the annual Turkey Bowl, WVU football games, swimming, sleepovers, gaming nights, beach trips, cabin parties… the list is endless! He was also my “barber” while I was in college, and I’ll admit he gives a great buzz cut! I’ll never forget the time when Josh got sick on our way to see the first Pokemon movie back in 1999. Fun times!
Bridesmaid
Andrea is my soon-to-be sister-in-law! Neil and Andrea will be saying “I do” next year and I am so excited for Andrea to be joining out family. Andrea has one of the biggest hearts I know, always caring for others and offering true kindness to all who come into her life. A few years ago, she adopted a rescue German Shephard named Pru, and to hear about the positive influence Andrea has had on Pru is truly remarkable. This is just one way that highlights the dedication Andrea has in all that she sets her mind to. Whether it be floating on top of the water, kayaking and enjoying beautiful views, or diving deep well below the surface and taking in the vast underwater world, Andrea is always down for an adventure. I can’t wait to get out on the water more with you!
Groomsman
Neil is Taylor’s older brother and is someone who she could always count on for having her back. From the stories that Taylor has told me of the two of them growing up - building Lego models, playing with Lincoln logs, or making chalk roads in their driveway - they share a bond that Taylor cherishes close to her heart. One could say you open new doors when beginning a relationship, but Neil would tell you that in my case, his door was kicked wide open. Ask him about it...
Bridesmaid
Kenzie started college at Arcadia University when I was starting my third year and she had joined the swim team as well. I am so grateful that Arcadia has brought Kenzie into my life, and I see her as a little sister to me. Kenzie is so passionate for everything that she does, and it shows how truly successful she has come to be. We have always had such a special bond, and I could always count on her for a big laugh or an even bigger hug.
Groomsman
Kevin and I have been friends since day 1 of preschool in 1997! I’m not sure how many hours we spent playing frisbee, football, and badminton in his backyard during high school and college, but it was always so much fun! I think he secretly got tired of me stopping at his house without notice, but he would never admit to it. Haha! Now, we make it a point to catch the latest Marvel movie releases together and always have the best time!
Groomsman
Zach and I have also been friends since day 1 of preschool in 1997! He is one of the smartest people I know… and that may or may not be why I cheated off him on a math test in first grade, causing both of us to fail. I guess we’ll never know! But we have shared countless good times together growing up through Cub Scouts, Sunday School, field trips, friends’ birthday parties, church functions, the daily grind of school, and nights out in Pittsburgh. Glad to have you as a great friend, Zach!
Parents of the Bride
My mom and dad will have been married for 34 years in October (10/4 Good Buddy!). They have shown Neil and I just how strong a marriage can be when you truly love one another. I cannot thank them enough for always being my loudest cheerleaders (quite literally one of the loudest cheering squads at my swim meets). They will always do anything for me and I continue to look up to the strength and kindness they show each and every day. I love you both!
Parents of the Groom
Dad and mom will be married for 44 years on September 12! Growing up, Chris and I were blessed to have parents as wonderful as these two truly are. They’ve always been kind to each other and are the prime example of what a healthy marriage should look like. They instilled in us the importance of being hard-working and disciplined, but at the same time, they created a life for me that was just about perfect and allowed me to achieve my hopes and dreams and shaping who I am today. I love you guys!
Ring Bearer
Lincoln absolutely LOVES to dance! His favorite toy is his Teddy bear whose name is ironically “Teddy." He loves monster trucks, playing hide and seek, watering his parents' plants, and going on family walks!
Flower Girl
Kara is 4 years old and has two little brothers! She loves Disney princesses but her favorites are Elsa and Anna from Frozen. Her favorite color is yellow. She can be shy at first, but is a funny and loving girl when she warms up! She loves dressing up and is excited to be a flower girl!
