Kate and Taylor first saw each other during their freshman year at Texas A&M. As agricultural communications and journalism majors, they shared similar schedules. Unfortunately during their classes, Kate sat in the front, and Taylor sat in the back. The first day of their sophomore year, Kate and Taylor finally met through a mutual friend. They bonded over cows and small towns. Kate and Taylor quickly became good friends, great friends and then the best of friends. Ryan was the first person Justin met at Texas A&M where they were both Sport Management majors. Veronica and Taylor met on the playground of a small southern school that is known for the local llamas that spit on you at the swing set (Hubbard). Inseparable through middle school and high school, they still remain the best of friends while living 5 hours away from each other, always one call away. Kyle and Justin go way back to their Kindergarten days at CCA. Growing up, it was common to see Kyle staying at the Herbert household at least a few nights a week playing basketball in the driveway, losing to Justin in every video game they played (today the results would probably be flipped), or waiting until the last minute to get Mrs. Herbert to teach them everything they needed to know for the math test they had the next day. Kyle currently goes to Texas State after transferring there from SAGU where he played college baseball. Kaylynn met Taylor when Taylor pulled up to their apartment freshman year with a ton of cow decor. Since then, Kaylynn has gotten more used to the cow decor, and they've become great friends. They have managed to survive college, wedding planning and so much more over the past 4 years as roommates. Zach & Justin have known each other their whole lives and grew up going to school and playing baseball together. Vika and Taylor met when looking for a house to live in for their 2020-2021 school year at Texas A&M. Cord and Justin met working for the Texas A&M Football team while in college. He was also a Sport Management major with Justin & Ryan and is now in grad school at Texas A&M and still works for the Aggie Football team. One time when Justin and Cord played intramural flag football at Texas A&M together, Cord caught the game winning touchdown the play after he broke his foot. This caused him to stand on crutches for a Parker McCollum concert at Harry’s the next week which happened to be one of Taylor & Justin’s first dates. Alyssa and Taylor met their freshman year at Dekalb High School. It could have been their addiction to Hot Cheetos or maybe it was their love of false lashes, but one thing is for sure: they became best friends. Their story is one of the "I don't know how it happened" stories. They blinked and then they were inseparable. Jared Derry

Jared was actually friends with Taylor first before Justin but has been a great friend for both. Jared is one of the original people we met at Texas A&M and he has been there through it all. You can count on him for a good laugh but not for ride anywhere because this man just refuses to get his driver’s license. He also lives in Canada which he claims is just France of the West. Haley and Taylor met shortly after Taylor finally admitted that she and Justin were officially dating. It didn't take long for Haley to realize Taylor would become the big sister Haley never had, but always wanted. Jacob Herbert

Jacob is Justin’s younger brother. After graduating high school, Jacob joined the military and is stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina where he works as an Electrical Engineer in the Marine Corps. Jacob has never met a stranger and there isn't anyone that he hasn't made laugh before. Catch him on the dance floor at the wedding probably wearing some kind of glow stick jewelry and crazy sunglasses. He hates to miss the wedding but we just pray for his safety and appreciate the sacrifices that he and others make to keep us safe. Justin's father, Ross, will stand in Jacob's place as a groomsman.
