FAQs

Question

Will we need to travel between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception are at Showalter’s Orchard and Greenhouse. The ceremony will be outdoors overlooking the orchard, so please dress for the weather that day! The reception will be inside the greenhouse, and the only “traveling” will be just a few steps.

Question

What does “garden cocktail attire” mean?

Answer

“Garden cocktail attire” means looking polished and a little dressy while keeping comfort in mind for an outdoor setting. For women, this could be a cocktail dress, skirt and top, or a jumpsuit in light fabrics and colors, paired with cute flats or wedges or block heels that are easy to walk in. For men, dress pants or chinos with a button-up shirt, and an optional blazer or tie, work perfectly. Think stylish and celebratory, but practical for strolling through an orchard!

Question

Can we take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Once the reception begins, feel free to snap away!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Absolutely! We’re so excited to celebrate with our family and friends, including the little ones. There will be games and dancing to keep them entertained throughout the evening.

Question

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving buffet-style. The main dishes will be meat-based and naturally gluten-free, and there will be sides that are friendly for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. If you have any specific allergies or dietary needs, please reach out to Johnny or Taylor so we can prepare your food safely and separately.
