We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies you can wear midi or floor length dresses. Gentlemen can wear slacks and button down shirt with tie or a suit. Please no jeans or sneakers.
Guests should arrive no later than 5:45 to be seated. Please give yourself ample time to find parking! The ceremony will start promptly at 6:00 pm. If you do not arrive by 5:45, you will not be permitted to enter the Garden Room and will need to wait until the ceremony concludes to join the other guests during cocktail hour.
The National Aviary has LIMITED on-site parking that is complimentary for our guests. There is also ample street parking surrounding the Aviary on Arch Street, West North Street, West Ohio Street, and Brighton Road. There will be a shuttle running from the hotel to the venue and back at designated times. These times will be coordinated closer to the day of the wedding. Please reach out to us if you are staying at the hotel and we will be able to give you a running schedule. There is a home Pitt football so the area will be busy — have a plan B. If the Aviary lot is filled and you don't want to street park, we recommend parking at the Ft. Duquesne & Sixth Garage located across from the Renaissance Hotel. You will be able to take the shuttle to and from the Aviary. We encourage guests to carpool and use rideshare apps like Uber/Lyft.

We have decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event with the exception of a few immediate family members. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night! We appreciate you making prior arrangements so you can celebrate with us.
Yes! There will be an open beer/seltzer, wine, and signature drink bar! We ask that you be patient and respect our bartender and show appreciation by tipping them for their service throughout the celebration!

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony to allow our professional photographers to capture the special moments. Our officiant will announce this before the ceremony begins. Feel free to snap away during the reception!
