Is there a dress code?

Casual cocktail attire for the welcome party, and cocktail attire for the wedding & reception! Ladies - block heels recommended for the reception!
Question
When should we book accommodations?
Answer
We suggest booking ASAP! October isn't considered peak rental season on the island, but there are limited options available, so please do so at your earliest convenience. There are definitely more hotels other than what we suggested within the travel section, so let us know if you need any other ideas!

When should we make a car reservation?
Answer
The 2023 car reservations officially opened up in January 2023. You can book directly through the Steamship Authority website. If interested, there are also car rental services on the island that include Turo, Avis and Budget.

Are kids welcome to the weekend wedding festivities?
Answer
As much as we love your kids, we want everyone to enjoy a children-free weekend! If your kids are staying on the island with you and you are in need of childcare, MV kid sitters is a great option.

Will the cocktail hour take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
If the weather gods cooperate, we will hold our cocktail hour both inside and outside. Shawls will be provided!

How do I get to the wedding venue?
Answer
We will provide transportation from the ceremony to the reception. Details will be provided at a later date!

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
Answer
You can provide these details on the RSVP card which will be included in your formal invitation.

Are there any hotels that have a room block reserved for guests?
Answer
Yes! Summercamp in Oak Bluffs is the only hotel we reserved a room block for. Please book ASAP as the room block will expire in August. We will include more details as that date approaches.
