Our story began thanks to an introduction by a mutual friend. Despite prompts to discuss our shared interest in Formula 1, our first conversation ended without much excitement. Yet fate, or perhaps persistent friends, kept nudging us into the same rooms: friend group hangs, birthday parties, and nights out. With every shared laugh and casual conversation, our indifference softened into curiosity, then into something neither expected. The turning point came by accident, courtesy of meddling friends. A casual group dinner turned into an unexpected date when our friends left for a separate dinner reservation, claiming "there was no room for us to join." What could have been awkward became effortless. We dove into our obsession with Formula 1 - debating drivers, dissecting races, and planning future Grand Prix trips before dessert arrived. By the time the check came, the accidental date felt anything but. A few months later, we decided to make it official while visiting Joe's family cabin in Ellijay, Georgia. This became a place we would escape to as often as possible. From early morning hikes to lazy days on the couch spent watching college football, we could not get enough time together. On a warm and sunny July afternoon, overlooking the gorgeous mountains at a vineyard in Ellijay, Joe popped the question that would determine the rest of our lives. Two people who started as an afterthought became each other’s entire world.

We will be married in an intimate ceremony on November 22nd, 2025 on Lake Oconee. We are sorry to not have all of you with us on our special day but we look forward to celebrating with you soon!
