Tale as old as time, Jim and Taylor met at the bar. Not sure exactly when, but for a long time they were just friends. And as fate would have, friends just wasn't enough. Jim helped Taylor move into a new apartment in May 2017 and after that he continued to find a reason to spend time with her. Eventually he took her on an official date, a day long ride on his motorcycle and from there Taylor was hooked! The rest is history!

Two days before Christmas, Taylor started her day out like most others during the pandemic, stressed out! She spent a 12 hour shift at Casa Toro, with no customers inside due to a holiday shut down. All that was on her mind that day was that she needed to get home and wrap presents and get ready for the party at her house the following day. Jim had different plans for her however! Getting home that night, she walked into the house to find the love of her life, standing in the kitchen, wearing a glass of red wine straight down a brand new gray hoodie she had bought him. Taylor yelled, "James Matthew are you kidding me!!! Are you drunk?!! I still have all the presents to wrap! Take that off right now before it stains!!! " But Jim didn't fret, without hesitation he simply said, "I made you a fire, come into the living room." Taylor still trying to fix his sweatshirt, walked over to find a fire in the fireplace and their picture on the mantel, and Jim slowly dropping to one knee. After the most perfect proposal and a great big YES, Jim pulled a bottle of champagne out of the couch to toast to a new future, and Taylor thought, "Crap and I was just yelling at him for staining his sweatshirt!"
