Jeremy and I met my Freshman year of college at the Marshall Men's Golf house. I didn't know anybody there except my friend, Rachel, who had brought me along with her. She was socializing with some of her other friends, and I was bored, lonely, and ready to leave..that's when Jeremy walked up, offered to get me a drink, and we instantly hit it off. After a few minutes of easy conversation, we decided to team up and play beer pong where we ran the table for the rest of the night. The party moved to one of the bars in downtown Huntington where we slow danced to the song "Wagon Wheel" then exchanged phone numbers over a calzone at DP Dough. The rest is history!
While I was on Christmas break from pharmacy school, Jeremy and I decided to make a short trip to my parent's condo in Manasota Key, FL. One of the cool things about the beach there is that you can find shark teeth along the shores. One evening, as the sun was setting, Jeremy asked if I wanted to go for a walk on the beach. We were strolling along, talking, and I was looking for shark teeth as we walked. I had gotten a little ahead of Jeremy when he said, "Taylor, look I found a big tooth!" I turned around and he was down on one knee with a ring. He asked me to make him the happiest man in the world and be his wife -- it was the easiest YES I have ever said!
