We met at a Halloween party, hosted by one of my best friends Lindsey. I was dressed as Velma from Scooby-Doo and Jeremy was dressed as Rip from Yellowstone. Jeremy drove from Lexington to meet me in Mount Airy at a party of about 30 close friends. If you know Jeremy, you know this was a big deal! And from that night on, the rest is history!

At the restaurant of where we went for our anniversary, we met with his family and my family/friends (without my knowledge) to eat then walked over to Reynolda Garden for family photos in the rainy weather. They asked if we wanted to stand under the pergola for "family pictures", so we got in place. When the cameras started taking pictures and videos, I looked over and he was down on one knee. I cried, shouted "YES," and we were engaged. BUT looked over to see some of my family drove hours, just to witness this moment with us as well. It was all a surprise, and our favorite one to date! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Lowgap!
