TAYLOR'S VERSION A friend of mine suggested I give Bumble a shot. Reluctantly, I downloaded the online dating app and was so picky with everyone who came up on my feed, until I saw Jarrod's profile. I decided to really try it out, so I messaged him. A few days later he asked me on a date. We fell in love so quickly and now I get to spend forever with my best friend! JARROD'S VERSION So a friend of mine convinced me to download Bumble. I was hesitant at first, but decided "what the heck," I'll give it a try. I didn't think much of it. I created a profile and then out of the blue, Taylor messaged me. She was the first message I got and the only one I needed! Then we fell in love and now we GETTIN MARRIED!!!

In April of 2021, the master plan Jarrod had to propose, began. Over the next few months, Jarrod worked to keep it all a secret. On Tuesday, June 1st, Jarrod called Taylor's father, Richard, and asked for their blessing. With Taylor's parents blessing, the plan continued. During the day on Friday, June 4th, Jarrod shares with Taylor that a big project he had been working on, officially launched. Taylor suggested they should celebrate with a date that night, and Jarrod was feeling pretty proud that he found a way to get her to come up with that idea. She did not suspect a thing! Jarrod picked Taylor up around 6:30pm on Friday June 4th. They went to one of their favorite restaurants, and enjoyed a nice meal. The plan for the rest of the evening was for Jarrod and Taylor to walk through Scissortail Park in Downtown OKC, something they had been hoping to do together for a while. As they walked through the park, Taylor kept trying to get Jarrod to look at the flowers along the different pathways. However, Jarrod was much more focused on getting to the destination he had scouted out earlier that day. Taylor felt disappointed that Jarrod was not interested in the flowers, but she followed along anyways. Eventually they came upon a flower garden that featured a wooden structure. Taylor thought that it looked so beautiful and "convinced" Jarrod to walk down there with her. Little did she know, this was the place Jarrod knew he would propose. When they walked under the structure, Jarrod let go of Taylor's hand. Finding that odd, she turned around planning to complain about why he had let go. Instead, she found Jarrod down on one knee. Taylor could not believe what was happening! After many tears were shed by them both, Jarrod asked Taylor to marry him. To no one's surprise, she said YES!
