Moving in together after dating for four months can sometimes prove disastrous, but luckily for us, it became the greatest decision we ever made. 7 years and counting, we're still going strong.

Anyone who knows us, knows that Jared is laid back, calm, and generally always in a good mood (unless he's playing dark souls). And everyone who knows Taylor, knows she is the complete opposite. We balance each other out, and it's made our relationship strong. When Taylor is freaking out about something that doesn't matter, Jared calms her down. And likewise, Taylor will light a fire under Jared when he doesn't realize it's needed. Jared prefers comedy and action movies, Taylor prefers romance and horror (weird combo, right?). Jared will play a first person shooter all day long, but will not touch the games Taylor would rather play, and he WILL NOT play against her. He's gotten whipped too many times to count in Civilization to even try. And Taylor is SERIOUSLY bad at certain first person shooters. Something about the viewpoint of the character? Jared calls bullshit. We are able to find common ground, and end up making the best of both worlds. RPGs where the decisions you make change the course of the game? Perfection. Romantic comedies, or action filled horrors? Movie Night. In truth, neither of us would feel whole without the other.

Our biggest goal is to travel the world, starting with the US. We have a laundry list of places we want to visit, and cannot wait to take our next trip, wherever that may be. A 12 hour drive somewhere is pretty daunting, but with the right person (and music), we get through it well. Though, flying is always preferable, especially since Jared is no longer anxious of flying, and Taylor is no longer anxious of airports and missing flights. So far, we've been to: San Diego, CA, New York, NY, New Orleans, LA, Colorado Springs, CO, and Kansas City and Dallas of course. We're looking forward to the future and adding many more cities to that list.
