They say the best relationships start with friendship — and ours is living proof. We met in high school, two teenagers who bonded over PV Hornets Football and Friday night lights. From day one, we were best friends — always joking and laughing, always there for each other “cheering” one another on, and always just getting one another in a way that felt rare, even back then. Through the years, our friendship became the foundation for something deeper. It wasn’t one big, dramatic moment — it was all the little ones. The way Jake always looked out for Taylor and taught her to be more confident and fearless. The way Taylor could make Jake smile from across the room and forced him to show his softer, sensitive side. We grew up together, and somewhere along the way, we realized we couldn’t live life without each other. Eventually, best friends became soulmates. Jake proposed to Taylor on 09.20.2024. Taylor thought she was going out for a birthday celebration, but Jake had something far more special planned. He got down on one knee in front of all their closest family and friends, and overwhelmed with happiness and surprise, it was the easiest “yes” she had ever said. It wasn’t just a promise of forever — it was a continuation of the journey we’ve been on since we were kids. Now, we’re so excited to start this next chapter, surrounded by the people who have loved and supported us from the very beginning.
