San Diego International Airport

For those joining us from out of town, the closest airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN). La Jolla is approximately a 30–45 minute drive from the airport, and we recommend using a rideshare service or renting a car. Once you are in La Jolla, the hotel blocks and Cuvier Club are all within walking distance. Transportation will be provided on the day of the wedding to and from the ceremony at Calumet Park and reception at Cuvier Club. Please note that guests will need to arrange their own transportation to the Welcome Event in Bird Rock on Thursday evening, which is approximately 2.5 miles from the hotel block.

This is the secondary hotel for our wedding guests. To book your room at the Empress Hotel of La Jolla, please click the link below or select “Group Code” on the Empress La Jolla official website and enter TAYLORJAKE2026 to receive the discounted rate. The Empress is also offering a courtesy extension of the discounted rate two days before and two days after the contracted block (4/9 & 4/10), subject to availability, if you’d like to extend your trip. The hotel is just a one-minute walk from our reception venue where the trolley will pickup to transport you to the ceremony location.
