We know traveling for a wedding is a big commitment, and it truly means the world to us to anyone who is able to celebrate with us in Cancún. At the same time, we completely understand that travel, schedules, or life circumstances may make it difficult to attend. We are grateful for the love and support of our family and friends, near or far.

We met in downtown Chicago at Flaco’s Tacos. Although initially drawn in by Taco Tuesday, we stayed for hours because of something much more meaningful. What began as a night out turned into effortless conversation, shared laughter, and an undeniable connection. As two Southerners who had both made our way to the Midwest, we quickly bonded over family, shared values, and the stories that shaped us. Since then, we’ve traveled the world together, celebrated career milestones, navigated late nights in graduate school, and built a life filled with adventure. Through every season, we have continued to choose each other. Now, we are stepping into our next chapter in Cancún, surrounded by the people we love most. A place that reflects our love for travel, warmth, and celebration feels like the perfect setting to begin our marriage. It all started with tacos… and it led us here 🌴🌮✨
