It's happening! We are getting married!

(Get comfortable... story time!) I am sitting at my desk at work in Waxahachie at Baylor Scott and White hospital. Two weeks prior I had prayed that God would lead me to someone that desires to have a relationship with Him. Fast forward to me sitting at my desk, I look over and ask my co-worker Kara if she knew anyone that would want to date a single mom. (I know ... what a strange request, right?) "Actually, yes I do know someone! He is really sweet and I think he would be really good for you." "Well give him my number!", I said promptly. Little did I know this would be the man I would come to fall in love with so quickly, as would my son Noah. We spent our first date at the Dallas aquarium only to realize we had spent over five hours talking! As time went on I realized that I was falling in love with Isaac, and I knew I wanted to spend my life with him! Well my dream came true on July 3rd 2020! Isaac had planned the entire week organizing our dinner reservation, photographer, and the engagement party, all while I am at home recovering from my wisdom tooth removal. I am sure it was one of the most stressful weeks for him, but it was well worth it in the end when I said yes! We are beyond thrilled for you to be there on our wedding day to celebrate! After a crazy year in 2020 with Covid-19, I think we ALL just need to have to some fun and find a reason to celebrate something!
