How We Met

First comes school, then comes marriage

Hunter and Taylor first met in middle school when their schools combined. It was love at first sight... at least for one of us. Hunter couldn't stop looking at her every single day but it was going to take a lot of courage to go over and talk to her (she's way out of his league). With just a little bit of interaction day by day, it seemed Taylor was finding a little bit of a likeness for Hunter. Eventually, it turned into more and more over the years. From a man too afraid to talk to her, to a man that got down on one knee for her, he knew he couldn't be happier, and knew she felt the same way. The merger of two schools brought together a love like none other and we can't wait to become Mr. and Mrs. Myers. -Hunter

Our Engagement Story

This Is It

Hunter proposed to Taylor on top of The Incline located in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The Manitou Incline has a total of 2,744 stair steps and is a 2,000 foot climb in elevation. Hunter asked the big question at the very top overlooking a beautiful view of Colorado. Hunter was pretty much a nervous wreck but thanks to the fatigue of climbing a mountain, his nerves subsided at least a little bit. Not much longer, Taylor's parents, Diane and Brian, reached the top of the mountain with huge smiles to congratulate us. It was truly the best proposal that we could have done!
