Flight
Santorini (JTR), Athens (ATH), and Mykonos (JMK). are the closest airports to Ios Island.
We are flying Delta Airlines, Flight #DL0847, departing from Phoenix on August 12th, 2023 at 6:30 am. Our layover is in New York (JFK), then we are flying on DL0212 departing at 8:20 pm for Athens. We arrive in Athens on August 13th, around 1:15 pm. We recommend flying into Athens on the 13th or 14th or arriving in Santorini on August 15th or 16th.

Island Hopping
We will be flying from Athens to Santorini on August 15th. The best option is to book directly through Aegean (the Greek national airline). You may also choose to ferry, but at the time of booking, the flight was the same price as the ferry. A ferry is required to get to Ios Island. This is the best site to book ferries. From Santorini to Ios, our ferry is booked on SeaJets, World Champion Jet, at 12:10 pm.

Try to stay within walking distance, specifically in the town of Thira. We have booked a stay for Tuesday the 15th, to check out on Friday, August 18th. We will be ferrying to Ios Island mid-afternoon on August 18th.

We are staying at this hotel as it is central to the beach and the town. We check in on Friday, August 18th, and check out on Monday, August 21st. Both the beach and the town are great options to stay! Just keep in mind, there are no Ubers or taxi's on the island. We recommend being walking distance to the venue.
