We’re excited to have everyone staying at Willow House, or directly across the street (walkable) at Stardust Big Bend. All accomodations have been pre-booked, and we’ll be in touch closer to the date to share more details about payment and exactly where you'll be staying.
The welcome dinner is casual. The wedding is Texas Formal - midi to long dresses for women and suits for men. Boots are recommended (all events will be at least partially outdoors on gravel), and hats, bolo ties, etc., are encouraged! Be prepared for chilly temps once the sun goes down. Typical weather in West Texas in February is 70s during the day and 40-50s at night, and all events will be a mix of indoor and outdoor, so bring layers! Additional items: - Closed-toed shoes - Hiking clothes/shoes if you plan to go to Big Bend - Sunscreen - Card/yard/board games or anything fun with a group - A flashlight (phones work too - but we recommend an actual flashlight if you have one) for navigating around both properties at night -Refillable waterbottle (it sneaks up on you, but Terlingua is at an elevation of 2,507 feet — so make sure to hydrate before and during your trip out West) - Optional: swimsuit; there is a pool at Willow House that should be heated - Snacks or special drinks you love (there will be kitchen space!) 📵 Heads up: Cell service can be spotty to nonexistent — which we consider part of the charm, but to be safe, download maps, playlists, or podcasts ahead of time.

Shot Time Liquor in Terlingua has a basic alcohol selection. If you want something specific, especially wine, we recommend planning ahead, as Terlingua doesn't have a great wine selection. As a reminder, we'll be providing non-alcoholic beverages, beer, wine, and cocktails for the welcome party, wedding, and brunch -- but if you have a bottle of something special you want ot enjoy (or share), feel free to bring it!
