On August 8, 2022, we matched on Hinge! Greg cleverly sparked the conversation, and Taylor.... didn't respond. A couple days later, Taylor's good friend, Alyson, asked her to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. As a good girl friend does, Alyson shared with Taylor who the single groomsmen would be at her upcoming December wedding- one of them being named "Greg" from Austin. "Ha! That's funny. I just matched on Hinge with a Greg from Austin... What if it's the same one?!" sarcastically knowing how improbable that was. Sure enough, the Greg from Austin that would also be in the wedding party was the same Greg from Austin on Hinge! As the back-and-forth hinge conversations between Taylor and Greg started to take off, Taylor chose not to make the mutual connection because "what if this makes things weird at your wedding?", so Alyson and Taylor decided not to say a peep. Turns out, Alyson's fiance, James, had already spilled the beans to Greg about the connections, and a few weeks later Taylor agreed to a first date on October 15, 2022. Taylor didn't want the night to end and all fears of things being awkward in the wedding quickly faded away! On our first date, we met halfway between our two cities in the thriving metropolis of Giddings, TX at a brewhaus where Taylor informed Greg "just so you know, I will *not* be moving from Bryan-College Station" and Greg said he would be willing to move if things worked out. Fast forward 9 months, Greg landed a job in Bryan and relocated to be nearer to Taylor and support her work at The BEE Community. We are so excited to begin our lives together and are eager to celebrate with each of you!
