Here are a few of our favorite spots in the area. If you have any questions or need more recommendations, please do not hesitate to text or call Gino a.k.a Mr. Miami.
Brickell City Centre
701 South Miami Avenue, Miami, FL 33131
Super cool and new open-air mall in the heart of Brickell. There are tons of shops and a couple good places to get a bite to eat including: American Harvest, Pubbelly Sushi and Tacology.
Toasted Bagelry & Deli
83 Southwest 8th Street, Miami, FL 33130
By far the best bagels in Miami and their iced coffee is made with frozen coffee iced-cubes so it never gets watered down. Taylor was hesitant to have a "Miami bagel" coming from NYC, but she eventually did and was hooked.
Casa Tua Cucina
70 Southwest 7th Street, Miami, FL 33130
This is Miami's version of Eataly and a great place to grab a bite, or, if you're a foodie - just explore!
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila
1220 16th Street, Miami Beach, FL 33139
This is a speakeasy on Miami Beach (15 minutes from Brickell) where you have to walk through a port-a-potty to get into. I took Taylor there on our first date and she loved it (once she got through the port-a-potty of course).
Sugar
788 Brickell Plaza, Miami, FL 33131
This is the rooftop bar at the EAST, Miami and it is not to be missed. Drinks are pricey but the views are the best in Miami.
Wynwood / Wynwood Walls
2520 Northwest 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33127
Wynwood is the artsy/hipster part of town full of graffiti art, cool bars and coffee shops. We spent a lot of time wandering the streets and checking out the latest street art when G lived in Miami.
American Social
690 Southwest 1st Court, Miami, FL 33130
A good bar and brunch spot. Gino's Miami condo was directly above American Social so we would frequently head downstairs and get a table by the water. It's also an FSU bar for all you Seminole fans.
