Our Happily Ever After

The day we met, I was working as a Hostess at "California Pizza Kitchen" at the time. He had came in with three other buddies of his (who happen to be in the wedding party), from the moment I laid eyes on him, My heart started fluttering, butterflies in my tummy and a "Zing" moment. The smile, the glasses, the tattoos and his red chucks were all tugging on my heart strings. I made sure to sit him at my friends section, so when he was ready for his check, I would get it first and write my number on it. This was the first boy, ever, I made a move on first. So happy I did, because two hours after leaving the restaurant, I got a text from Nick. The rest is history! Forever Grateful God put us in each other's paths and lives that day.

We were on our very first vacation, just Nick and I, away from the kids, celebrating Valentines Early, at Disneyland Sweethearts Nite. We had spent all morning/afternoon riding rides, walking around feeling the magic, eating unlimited churros, having mickey snacks, and also getting spoiled by Nick, getting me my very first Lounge Fly. We decided to go back to the hotel to rest before going back later to Sweethearts Nite. We were getting ready to go to dinner and back to the park, when I had stepped out of the bathroom to get my bag when I see Nick on one knee. I went back in the bathroom, thinking my mind was playing tricks on me, I stepped back out still seeing him one knee but then said "Will You Marry Me", I was freaking out cause I have been waiting for this moment, I went over to him and saw the ring. I started crying, couldn't speak from my emotions, so all I could do was shake my head "yes". The easiest "Yes" ever to the Most Perfect Day!
