We want to start by saying thank you all so much for being apart of our story! Initially, we met in the 8th grade, and oddly enough we didn’t become close until after Ethan left to go back to Valdosta, about three hours away. December 12th, of 2012 Ethan asked 14 year old Me to be his girlfriend. Skip ahead to senior year, Ethan moved back home to graduate in Bryan County. It was never easy, him being so far away, both of us having our own lives going on around us. Yet here we are, engaged as of December 24th, 2018. Perfectly done, might i add, at the TMT Christmas Lights (anyone who knows me knows how big of a deal this is). Ellabell is a small town. And many choose to leave this small town. But then there’s us. We experienced a lot of our ‘firsts’ here in this little town together. We bought our first home together here, and we’re going to get married here. On the same exact road that we purchased pur first home actually. The same road that we snuck kisses on over the years. The location we are choosing to get married at is the same location where we had our senior prom pictures taken, and hopefully where our future kids will take theirs too. As of today, the life we are growing together includes our dog Stoeger, our kitten Mercy, our 27 chickens, our 4 ducks, and our 2 pigs, all on the lot that our beloved 1983 home sits on. And one day, we will have little ones running around these same roads that we have spent hours riding around on during the summers between grades in high school, we didn’t know it then, but ironically right around the corner from our first home and about a quarter mile up the road from where we plan to say ‘I do’ in front of all of our loved ones on April 4th, 2020.
