Where are the wedding events being held? Where should we stay?

Answer

All the events including the welcome party, wedding ceremony and reception will be held at The Woodstock Inn & Resort. We have reserved a block of rooms at a special rate just for our guests. Click on our Weekend Agenda and Travel & Stay pages to get all the room block information you need —including area inns and our guest shuttle service.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

We do not want you to miss out on our party, but sadly we cannot accommodate children at our event. Hopefully, this will give you a chance for a much-needed night out. The Woodstock Inn & Resort has a concierge service and you can inquire about their list of babysitters.

Are pets allowed at The Woodstock Inn & Resort?

Answer

The Woodstock Inn & Resort has six rooms on their Garden level that are devoted to pet-lovers. These rooms are included in the special room rate price. However, the Woodstock Inn & Resort does charge an additional pet fee of $150 for the weekend.

Is there a fitness center at The Woodstock Inn & Resort? What about a Spa?

Answer

Yes, for our guests convenience they may use The Woodstock Athletic Club located 1.4 miles from the Woodstock Inn & Resort. There is a shuttle bus service available. There is a complimentary day pass for those staying at The Woodstock Inn & Resort (and a $10.00 fee for those not). This fitness club offers court rentals, swimming, cardio and weight equipment, cycling studios, yoga and fitness classes and indoor pool. There is also a contemporary spa for total body wellness, it is a Forbes 4-Star Rated Spa located at The Woodstock Inn & Resort. What is the dress code for events?

Answer

The welcome party on Friday evening, January 19th from 8pm-10pm will be casual attire. The wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, January 20th will be formal or cocktail attire. Ceremony begins at 4pm, cocktails and reception from 5-10pm

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We love that you want to take pictures. The only time we ask you to put away your phone is during our wedding ceremony. We prefer an unplugged ceremony and will therefore restrict the use of phones while we say our "I Dos." Our wedding photographer will be on site to take photos.

Is there a gift registry or honeymoon fund?

Answer

Our wedding wouldn't be the same without your presence! However when it comes to presents, please be aware our registry lists a few select items. We have also set up a Newlywed Fund on our page to contribute to our honeymoon or help outfit our new home.

What Type Of Food Will Be Served? Open Bar?

Answer

Bring your appetite! Following our wedding ceremony we will be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. You will be asked to choose your entree on our RSVP website page. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies you can also note this on the bottom of the RSVP page. There will be an open bar at our reception.

What Will The Weather Be Like In Vermont In January?

Think snow! Think wintery escape. The average temperature in Woodstock in January for a typical day ranges from a high of 26 degrees to a low of 10 degrees. if you plan to explore, Woodstock is made for wintery fun! Check out galleries, coffeeshops, shopping, skiing and more. Remember to dress warmly, jacket, boots, hat, gloves.

Where can we ski or snowboard?

Answer

Just a few minutes from Woodstock Village, abundant snow blankets one of the oldest ski area in the US. Formerly known as Suicide Six, now named Saskadena Six is a family-friendly place to snowboard or ski. Ask the Woodstock Inn & Resort for more information.

Does the Woodstock Inn and Resort have Restaurants?

Answer

Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner is served at the Red Rooster. Lunch reservations are recommended and dinner reservations are required. Call 802-457-6671. Also available at The Woodstock Inn is Richardson's Tavern where a relaxed pub atmosphere featuring local craft brews and spirits is offered.
