Please join us in beautiful Lake Tahoe to celebrate our marriage!
I remember walking into the first day of my first job feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. There were a few people in the starting class already sitting in the onboarding room, one of them was Taylor, which as I now know is rigorously early to everything (waiting outside 30 minutes before we were supposed to show up – who does that?!). I remember seeing him for the first time and decided to sit in the seat next to him. Our time together in Arizona was mainly spent agonizing over our job and making friends as part of our onboarding class. It was a foundation of a really promising friendship. 1 year later I made the life changing decision to make Aliyah. I was so excited for my new adventure but sad to leave the friends I had made in Arizona. I moved away and Taylor and I stayed in touch. Texts became phone calls which became facetimes and before I knew it we were talking constantly. 3 months after living in Israel Taylor took a leap and came to visit. That trip was the best 3 weeks of our lives and it was on that trip that I knew he was my person. Taylor moved to Israel 4 months after that visit and getting to live together in Tel Aviv, adventuring together will always be some of my fondest, most cherished memories. I felt like I was living in a romance novel .... this man just moved across the world to be with me?! There was no way this would end in anything but heartbreak, it was just too good to be true. Yet, our fairytale continued and now we're getting married. I couldn't be more excited to marry my best friend and spend the rest of our lives together.
During our time in Arizona, Ella and I crossed paths at Freedom Mortgage, our first real job, both eager college grads diving into the working world. What started as colleagues quickly blossomed into a really great friendship. When Ella decided to make her move to Tel Aviv, I couldn't shake this feeling of missing her. But our daily FaceTime calls kept us close, and when she suggested I visit, I was all in. Our 3 week time in Israel was truly unforgettable. From the rapping through the ancient streets of Jerusalem to the drinking wine along the shores of Tiberius, we created the most unforgettable trip. Even after returning home from the trip, our bond remained unshakable. Determined to be with her, I took a leap of faith and joined Ella in Tel Aviv. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we found joy in building a life together in Las Vegas. With our loyal companion, Blue, by our side, every day continues to be an adventure. Now, as we approach our wedding day, I'm filled with so much appreciation for every moment shared with Ella. With her by my side, life is an exhilarating journey waiting to be explored.
