We both went to college at Saint Norbert College in De Pere, WI. EJ played on the football team and Taylor played on the softball team. Both knew of each other throughout college, but their paths never really crossed until the end of their undergraduate years (yet EJ did ask to teach Taylor how to polka one afternoon while eating in the cafeteria prior to dating). Their relationship started in the laundry room at Schneider Stadium with EJ helping Taylor learn how to do the laundry- yes you heard that right.

EJ and Taylor took their very first camping trip- tent camping- at Dodge State Park while dating. While EJ grew up going camping throughout his childhood, Taylor didn't go camping other than staying in a tent in her grandmother's front yard on occasion. A year after Taylor's first true camping experience, the couple went back to go for a hike. It was that day EJ proposed and Taylor said yes (And EJ ended up getting it all on video!)
