We are getting married!!!!

Our story began seven years ago as juniors in high school. It all started in chemistry class when I noticed a cute boy walk in. I guess Donovan thought the same thing because it wasn’t long and I got a Facebook message from him. We talked for a few days before I put the pieces of the puzzle together that Donovan and one of my good friends Rachel went to the same church. Through talking to her and him I figured out there was a dance happening that upcoming weekend. I weaseled my way into Rachel taking me to the dance with her with little to no mention of Donovan. Donovan showed up late and I was convinced he wasn’t coming. He finally got there and we talked and laughed all night. In the corniest way there was some sort of instant comfort with Donovan. At the end of the night Donovan suggest we go to a movie (LOL if you know us at all you know that’s his go to). So a few days later we went to see wreck it Ralph. It was great and we kept talking. Six days later we made it official. Fast forward through quick road trips, long road trips, new cities, lots of pizza and mac and cheese, and who knows how many movies. Donovan moved to Richmond, I graduated college, WE GOT ENGAGED, we got our first apartment in Richmond, I got my first job. Now here we are planning our wedding and so excited to start our future as Mr. and Mrs. Allen. 💜
