We met in middle school and we were friends throughout middle school and high school. I went off to college and Dominique went off to New York; she was always somebody I had a little crush on. I came home from college to work at Publix near my parent's house and I ran into her mother, only talking about Dominique. I asked her for Dominique's phone number, but she instead took my phone number to give to her. Dominique texted me that night and we talked all night and into the early morning. I knew right away I wanted to be with her, I didn't care about the distance. We started talking about marriage very quickly and I knew I wanted to marry her after about one or two months of dating.

I remember when my mom gave me Taylor’s phone number after not talking to or hearing about Taylor for over two years. He was always a lady’s man in high school, so I was absolutely sure he was spoken for! One of his first questions to me was if I was seeing anyone, to which I replied that I wasn’t. We immediately began to “re-” get to know each other. I remember calling my parents one week in and saying “I’m in trouble…” About a month in, Taylor sent me a handwritten love letter asking if we could make our relationship official. I said yes! I came down to Florida about a month later and he picked me up at the airport. My heart was racing and my face hurt from smiling so hard. Six years later and he still makes me feel like that every day!
