“Super romantic actually — we met on Tinder. I swiped right, and the rest is history. Our first date was at Buffalo Wild Wings in Birch Run, and after it was over I told my sister Whitney about him. She immediately said, ‘I think I know him.’ Come to find out, Dillon’s dad was actually the DJ at Brian and Whitney’s wedding, and their families had known each other for years. It was such a breath of fresh air knowing he wasn’t a complete stranger. I fell in love with Dillon instantly.”

“Dillon and I took a trip to Georgia to visit our friends Kelly and Aaron and to see a concert by The Runarounds. During the concert, Kelly asked to take a few photos of us together. As I turned around, Dillon was down on one knee. I was completely shocked — so shocked, in fact, that I didn’t even answer when he asked, ‘Will you marry me?’ I just grabbed the ring, turned around, and ran away. We still laugh about it to this day.”

“The ring box Dillon used to propose means so much to me, too. About a year before the proposal, we were out on a walk when Charlie picked up an old ring box and handed it to Dillon saying, ‘Daddy, use this when you marry Tay Tay.’ At the time, we laughed and tucked it away, but when Dillon pulled that same ring box out during the proposal, I instantly started crying. The moment Charlie said that had stayed with me all along, and seeing it come full circle made it even more special.”
