Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

It will be an all-black affair! Dress to impress in your best black formal or cocktail attire! Think suits for men and cocktail/floor-length dresses for women. Please no jeans/denim and we ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams. *Dress code will be strictly enforced. We thank you in advance!

Where will the wedding be held?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors at the beautiful Chateau Nouvelle in Houston, TX.

Is there parking available near the venue?

Answer

Yes, free parking will be available on site but will be limited. We encourage you to consider alternative transportation such as rideshare or carpool.

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

To ensure a comfortable experience for all, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. Your invitation will specify if you have a plus one, and their name will be included under yours when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of children in our wedding party. Think of this as a fun parent night out!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP by Wednesday, June 4th 2025. If you do not RSVP by the deadline, we will have to mark you as not attending. We will miss you celebrating with us; however, we must provide an accurate guest count to our venue within a certain timeframe and unfortunately cannot accept late RSVPs.

What if I cannot make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP "Will NOT Attend." If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find that you will not make it, please notify Taylor at 281-736-5967 or Devin at 832.870.5472.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6 PM. Please plan to arrive around 5:30-5:45 PM to ensure you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in.

Can we take photos with our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, and we ask that you PLEASE keep your phones and cameras put away during this special moment. This allows us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience and ensures our photographer can capture it beautifully. Feel free to take and post pictures of moments before/after the ceremony or reception with the hashtag #AllEnwiththeSmiths!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a fully stocked bar available during cocktail hour and throughout the reception. All we ask is that you please don’t bring in outside alcohol or shout “last call”—both are against our venue’s policy and could result in a fee charged to us (the happy couple). Please drink responsibly and bring your best dance moves!
