FAQs

Question

Can I bring kids?

Answer

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children at our ceremony or reception due to limited seating unless you are immediate family who have this noted in your rsvp link.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If we have reserved an extra seat in your honor on your invitation, feel free to bring a guest and note this on your rsvp. No additional guests or children are permitted due to a limited seating chart. Example: if you have “2 seats” reserved on your invitation, that is for you and a guest (like a significant other). No additional guests including kids are allowed.

Question

What time should I get there?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 3:30 and doors will be locked at that time. We recommend guests arrive at 3 or 3:15 at the latest to get a seat and guarantee you will not miss the ceremony.

Question

What if my reservation status changes?

Answer

If you answer “yes” to the invitation and end up suddenly not being able to attend, please change this on the website and notify Derek or Taylor. There will be a seating chart and specific chairs reserved for each guest, so please allow us the time to make changes in order to fit all guests in the venue and have no empty seats. If you originally answered “no” to coming and then change that status, please update the website and notify Derek or Taylor by 8 July.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Please do not take pictures or videos during the ceremony, since we have hired a professional. Having cellphones in the pictures negatively impacts our photos and video as well as blocks guests we hope to see in our own professional pictures. We will happily send you those pictures upon request after the wedding. Please feel free to take many pictures during cocktail hour and the ceremony! In fact, we’d love for you to send those to us after the wedding as well!

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location with ample parking in front of the building. Please follow the signs.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress code is semi- formal or formal. Feel free to wear suits, cocktail dresses, or sun dresses. Shorts, jeans, t-shirts, and general casual wear are not permitted.
