It was the first week of my first year at NDSU. I didn't know anyone besides my suitemates and a high school friend that attended there as well. To make friends, my roommate had made a sign that said, "Come play cards against humanity" and placed it on our door. On the first day of classes, my suitemates, high school friend and I all went to the dining center to get lunch. On our way back, my friend and I tried to lock my suitemates/roommate out of my dorm and when we got there Cooper and his roommate happened to walk by and were looking at us weird. They asked "Uh, what are you guys doing?" I was a little embarrassed and said, "We are trying to lock my roommates out." After that, they suggested playing cards against humanity and that is what we did! We then all hung out every day that week. That Friday, we decided to watch one of my favorite movies, Labyrinth, and that is when we found out that we both liked each other through our roommates. From that day forward, we have been in separatable. In 2024, we moved in together in our apartment in Sartell where Cooper started his job at Blattner Energy and I finished my schooling online. We hope to have little ones running around in the future.
