It all began at one of our favorite places - Norris Lake, TN. Long story short - Taylor went with Erica (Oldiges) Ranly to Norris Lake and stayed at her lake house for the weekend. Connor happened to be at Norris the same weekend with his family and friends. Erica & Taylor went for a jet ski ride where they ended up passing Connor on his jet ski. As Erica was driving the jet ski and Taylor commenting "I think that was Connor Echols," she quickly turned around finding that Connor also turned his jet ski around. We both stopped, and the three of us ended up talking for while in the cove where Connor & Taylor officially met. The rest is history.

It all started with Maria Wolters asking Taylor to have a girl's day since Connor was "working all day." Maria & Taylor started Saturday morning with a long run, brunch, and a manicure using the gift card "her husband gave her for Christmas." We then went to check out Tall Pines Woods (located 20 minutes outside of Columbus), since we have never been and knew it would be a good day to see it with all of the snow. Our plan was to then finish the day with grabbing a drink or two at a brewery. Maria and Taylor started walking through the Tall Pine Woods. A half mile in, Taylor turned the corner and saw Connor standing there down the path with rose pedals lining the walkway to end with pedals shaped in a heart. Connor met Taylor in the middle of the path, and stopped at the center of the heart. He then got down on one knee. Taylor said YES! The photographer captured all of the moments (see the Photos page for a few of our favorites). We spent the rest of the day celebrating & it was perfect.
