When you know, you know

Did you know Taylor and Cody were actually set up on a blind “hangout date” 10 years ago? One of their mutual friends, Jacqueline, introduced them because she thought they were perfect for each other. She was right, they just didn't know it until many, many years later. Taylor, not knowing Amy (friend from softball) was really listening, mentioned how cute Cody was as he was pitching for his softball team against Taylor’s Tuesday night team. Amy and Katie, both long time friends from softball, secretly gave Cody the clue Taylor was interested! Cody leaped at the opportunity and from their first date, where Cody lost to Taylor in all 3 games (corn home, ping pong, and pool) the two have been inseparable. Later on to find out Cody's Grammy was one of the first restaurant owners at Taylor’s grandparents historical buildings in Cayucos. Their families go way back!! From early on they both “knew” they were destined to be with each other for life! In just the 2 short years of being together they have fallen deeper in love and decided it was time to start a family and get married! No better time than right now, with so much hardship in the world, having so much to look forward to has been their biggest blessing. The little one is expected to arrive in early January of 2022.

Planned Elopement

Although we wish we could invite all of our friends and family to our special day we have decided a small private ceremony with immediate family would be best for everyones safety and health during these rather strange times. We wish we could ride the roller coaster of planning an event durning the ongoing season of Covid, but with so many changes still happening on a daily basis we decided to pass on the big wedding celebration. We are being as safe as possible with our little bundle of joy on the way and we are just so excited to become a family of three. There will be so many other wonderful events and milestones to celebrate together once Covid is over and we look forward to those times. Thank you for understanding our decision and we want to thank all our friends and family for your love and support. We wouldn’t be the people we are without YOU, and we love you all! Stay safe and healthy. Until the next time we can dance away and hug without fear!
