We were stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska together for the Army! We started dating in June of 2018 and fell so quickly in love! Ricky moved to Fort Rucker, Alabama that December for the Army and we continued to do the long distance of 4,309 miles, seeing each other every couple months. To this day, we are still long distance, but now only 437 miles. I truly believe by fate, God placed us exactly where we needed to be up there in Alaska, with each other! We are so grateful for the time we do get to spend together, and can't wait to be with each other for good, so very soon!

We were taking our yearly trip to Panama City Beach, Florida with some friends and family! We spent the day on the beach just relaxing and soaking up the sun. We left later that evening to have dinner and go play mini golf with everyone. Afterwards, we all decided to take a walk on the Pier! To my surprise, Ricky had the whole night planned out and asked me to marry him in front of all of our very close friends and family!
