Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The event will take place at 801 Elks Rd, Richmond IN. The ceremony will be held at Woodland Chapel at 12:30pm, followed by a reception in the Turner-Grey Meeting Room. We look forward to having you all!

What time should I arrive and will parking be onsite?

Answer

All guests are expected to arrive by 12:15pm. The wedding party is expected to be there earlier, as we will have a separate chat for those involved in the wedding. Parking is provided onsite- outside the chapel can hold up to 15-20 cars and of course the reception area has a lot outside!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we will be having a dress code. The attire for the day will be formal/black tie. Make sure to potentially bring a sweater if you must, as we will be in the woods! Guests are free to wear any color they would like.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely not. Our ceremony and reception will be child free. We will be deep in the woods so it is also very easy for a child to run or vanish. We do not want that responsibility.

Question

Will there be alcohol/ is smoking allowed?

Answer

Due to the venue policies we must have a dry wedding- but to compensate for this we will be having a get together at our house later that evening in which alcohol is permitted. There is also to be no smoking on the property. We would like to leave the venue even better than how we found it! We do not mind vaping as long as it doesn’t take place during the ceremony itself.
