It started off with a “Happy new year!” text from Caleb. I didn’t know him at the time but thought he was handsome. We started talking and the conversation just flowed so naturally! We decided to meet up for coffee at Starbucks and then walk Lake Junaluska. We talked a lot and got to know each other. We started hanging out more and more, going hiking and camping, etc. The rest is history!

We went up to Pennsylvania last Christmas to spend it with my family. Little did I know, the trip we had planned to go to Hershey Park’s Christmas Candy Lane was actually where I was going to be proposed to!! The lights were so beautiful, Caleb kept me warm by letting me wear his jacket (it was freezing cold!). We were admiring the lights when all the sudden our song Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey started playing, and he got down on one knee and proposed! It was a day I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.
