FAQs

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We want our loved ones to feel snazzy with us! Cocktail attire is encouraged - dress for a cozy Autumn evening in Connecticut :)

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Yes! We love you and your little ones. Please bring them if you'd like to.

Question

Is the reception indoors/outdoors?

Answer

The reception will be held outdoors under a tent. Restrooms will be available nearby, and the lake will be open if anyone is brave enough for an October cold plunge! A few things to know: The reception space is all grass (other than the dance floor), so we recommend choosing shoes accordingly. The walk down to the tent is a bit steep - if anyone in your party would prefer a ride, we’ll happily shuttle you down in the Gator. Just let us know what you need!

Question

Is the bar open?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have an open bar all evening. Drinks are on us, but if you feel like showing the bartenders some extra love, bring a little cash for the tip jar.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

We’re keeping things tasty and fun! Cocktail hour kicks off with an oyster & shrimp bar plus charcuterie. For dinner, a wood-fired pizza truck will be serving up pizza (with gluten-free options) and fresh salad. To finish, we’ll have gelato and coffee to keep you fueled for dancing. If you have any dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, allergies), let us know ahead of time and we’ll make sure you’re covered.

Question

Where can I park?

Answer

There’s some parking right at the house, and extra spots are just a short stroll down at the public boat launch at the end of Mott Lane. If anyone in your party would prefer not to walk, don’t worry - we can give you a ride up in the Gator!
